My partner and myself experienced a delightful evening at Maison Livernois, conveniently located minutes away from our hotel - Fairmont Le Chateu Frontenac. Everything from our drinks to the main courses was made to perfection! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional. We recommend this place, as we will surely attend this restaurant again.

Walked in without a reservation and sat at the bar. No disappointments at all. The staff was friendly, the gin selection was outstanding, the bartender was knowledgeable, and the French onion soup and hot wings were very nice. We had such a good time that we'll go back tomorrow!

We booked ahead for a nice evening out and it didn't disappoint. The service was great, as was the atmosphere and the food. I had the braised beef cheek which was delicious, followed by the berry pudding...so good. Others in our party had the braised short rib and the pepperoni pizza, both of which they said was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Great food. Nice bartender. Arrived without a reservation and was sat at the bar. No big deal, but the tables never filled up. The duck poutine was fantastic. The fried fondue was delicious. The escargot was rich and sumptuous. Great drink selection. Would recommend to anyone.

We visited Quebec city the weekend before Christmas and had dinner at Maison Livernois on the Saturday night. The place is cozy and laid back and we had great service from our waiter Alexandre. The food was tasty. We had the beef carpaccio and the croquettes and a burger with the 8oz beef plate with veggies. We also did a gin tasting and got to discover some new flavors upon our waiter’s recommendation. Unfortunately like many have mentioned it was quite chilly in the restaurant since the restaurant entrance gives way straight to the dining room area and the curtain hiding the entrance doesn’t help much especially with so many people coming in and out and not replacing it adequately. They offered blankets and we got lucky as we were seating next to the window which wasn’t directly in front of the door opening but many other patrons of the restaurant kept their winter coats on.
